We were incredibly honored to be invited to offer the closing keynote for the 2016 National Bioneers Conference, a fertile hub of social and scientific innovators with practical and visionary solutions for the world’s most pressing environmental and social challenges. The 5 min introduction by Nina Simons, Bioneers co-founder and President, moved us to tears before we hit the stage.

We offered a multi-media keynote laced with story-telling and performance poetry to explore the network of mutuality that binds our existence through the ricochet of oppression and the reciprocity of liberation. We talk about art as a tool for catalyzing action, cross-pollinating solutions, getting at the root of intersectional social and ecological issues, and reminding us that we all belong to each other.
