AR collage for WEBAYITI RESURRECT is a project Naima started in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti to bring together African-heritage healers, artists, and farmers from the diaspora to work in solidarity with earthquake survivors for community resilience in a rural village called Komye. Through art and music therapy workshops, sustainable agriculture and reforestation initiatives, yoga and meditation, wellness clinics, and women’s self-determination circles, Ayiti Resurrect’s aim is to contribute to the strength and autonomy of the Haitian community through this long-term project dedicated to transforming trauma through collective healing.
